Barbara Cheng brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the aviation industry, having played an instrumental role in shaping both the Commercial and Finance functions at Phoenix Aircraft Leasing since its inception. Starting her career as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, Barbara quickly rose through the ranks to become a Director and Shareholder—a testament to her dedication, leadership, and deep industry knowledge.
Over the years, she has collaborated with prominent aviation partners such as Singapore Airlines, ATR, Asian Wings, and others across Asia and Europe. Her expertise spans the purchase, leasing, and sale of more than 50 commercial aircraft, with transactions involving major operators including China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Lufthansa, Flightline, Adria Airways, Myanmar Airways, and United Airways.
